Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your TruthAlpha subscription at any time. Cancellation can be done through:

  • Your Settings page → click “Manage Billing”
  • The Stripe billing portal (accessible from your account)
  • Contacting our support team

What Happens When You Cancel

When you cancel a subscription:

  • Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
  • Your data (portfolios, trades, journal entries) is retained and accessible on the free plan, subject to free tier limits.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of first subscription: Full refund if you are not satisfied, no questions asked.
  • Service outages: Pro-rated refund for extended service disruptions lasting more than 24 hours.
  • Billing errors: Full refund for any unauthorized or duplicate charges.

Refunds are not available for partial months of service after the 7-day window, or for months where you have actively used the Service.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@truthalpha.com with your account email and reason for the request. We will process refunds within 5-10 business days.

Plan Changes

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Free Tier

TruthAlpha offers a free tier with basic portfolio tracking (15 holdings) and full trade journal access. The free tier never requires a credit card and has no time limit.
